Iranian Cinema: Gender, Nation and Narration

The series includes films by some of the most famous Iranian directors -- Bahram Beyzaee, Rakhshan Bani Etemad, Tahmineh Milani and Abbas Kiarostami -- and culminates in three nights of post-screening discussions, questions and answers with Manijeh Hekmat on Women's Prison (2002); Me, My Room and My Friends (2004); Women Come out of the House 2006) and her last feature film Three Women (2008).
